Hospitality, hope, compassion, respect and community are at the core of why the Good Samaritan Inn exists and how we deliver our services; and these elements are evident in all of the interactions that we have had with AWF, Hayball and all of their partner services.

Following completion of the Stage 1 services upgrade at the Good Samaritan Inn Women's Crisis Centre and Refuge, AWF and Network Partners Hayball, LCI, Tract and WT Partnership worked together to design and develop a multi-purpose garden pavilion for the centre.
Many of the women who attend the centre bring their children children, and the new building provides vital space for all-weather play as well as educational and music programmes, craft, and garden therapy.
“Accessing professional advice and services is often outside of the reach of the budgets of small organisations such as ours, so it was a huge relief to us to be able to work with a network of such professionals on these projects. We were overwhelmed by the care, concern and absolute commitment to making the amenities as beautiful as possible, shown by the wide team of architects and others engaged in these projects…
…from me, GSI staff, the Board and all of the 250 women and children who are supported and accommodated every year, we say a very heartfelt and genuine thank you.” – Felicity Rorke, GSI
