“What I really love about working at AWF is that we’re bringing the decision-making about peoples’ environments to people who really should have a say, people who probably have never worked with an architect before and might look to us as experts. But in the end, they are the experts of their own environment and we can just help to guide the process.”

Ryan is a Project Coordinator at Architects Without Frontiers. He works across community and international development projects that aim to make social cohesion, connection to place, and local agency a priority for policy, planning, and the design of buildings and neighbourhoods.

Outside AWF he is a practising architect (ARBV) and Senior Consultant at CoDesign Studio.
