AWF Network Partners, supporters and friends gathered at the Melbourne office of NBRS Architecture to celebrate NBRS’s work on projects with AWF for One Life to Love in New Delhi, India and Minds Beyond Measure in San Miguel, Philippines.  NBRS director, Andrew Duffy also presented NBRS’s pro-bono design project for the Te-Kworo Maternal Health Hospital in Pader, Uganda.

It was a great opportunity to welcome AWF’s new Network Partner, BKK Architects.  BKK director George Huon presented projects ranging from huge infrastructure on the North-East Link to a warm and intimate pro-bono housing design for Fusion Youth and Community Centre, Mornington Peninsula.

Both Network Partners spoke about the importance of culture in architectural practice – a people-focussed culture of care, joy and togetherness, and a culture of connection and respect for Country and people.

AWF’s Executive Director, Esther Charlesworth presented a snapshot of current and upcoming AWF projects.
