Lessons from Dien Ban

"We offer a lifeline to families who have no one else to turn to for help with their child. We give them the support they need to keep the child within the family." —Jackie Wrafter, Kianh Foundation

Thank you to Jackie Wrafter, MBE and Co-Founder of the Kianh Foundation for her inspiring presentation yesterday about the process of establishing and building the Dien Ban Disability Day Centre and the incredible work and ongoing impact of the Foundation.

From 2008-2012, AWF, BURO Architects and RMIT worked with the Kianh Foundation to design and build a Day Centre in central Vietnam. The Centre provides a range of specialised services to support the development of children with disability.

Thank you to the Kianh Foundation and Jackie for their incredible work in transforming the lives of children with special needs and their families, and for sharing your story with us.

Thanks to Tract for kindly hosting the event and to the ASRC Catering for their fantastic catering.
